Description

job title

Lead the collaboration with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable DevOps processes and solutions.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery, including building, testing, versioning, and deploying applications.
Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistency and reliability across environments.
Monitor and optimize system performance for scalability and high availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), automated provisioning, and orchestration.
Drive the implementation and management of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure deep visibility into system health and performance.
Develop and maintain incident management processes such as triage and escalation, and also conduct post-mortem reports.
Provide on-call support for the development team and respond to critical incidents, participating in a fair and rotating on-call schedule.
Stay on top of industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance the team's effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or similar tools)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash or Python) for automation and configuration management.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g., Ansible).
In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD).
Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and the ability to configure and maintain secure infrastructure environments.
Experience with message queuing tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
Experience with log management tools (e.g., Splunk) is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
