Nobitex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to help shape the backbone of our systems.
As a key member of a small, highly collaborative engineering team, you will design, develop, and
maintain performant, scalable, and reliable software. We're looking for engineers who care deeply about
writing production-quality code and solving challenging technical problems.
What You'll Do:
Design and develop high-performance backend systems and services.
Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to plan, design, and implement new features.
Work closely within a small engineering team where every member has significant ownership and
impact.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Implement comprehensive testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
Continuously improve system performance, scalability, security, and engineering processes.
Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
Professional experience building production systems.
Deep understanding of software architecture and system design.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Experience building and operating systems under high production load.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a small team.
A pragmatic mindset with strong ownership and self-management skills.
Commitment to writing maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented software.
We are language agnostic. We value engineers who can quickly learn and apply new
technologies rather than expertise in a single programming language.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Rust.
Familiarity with financial systems, trading platforms, or cryptocurrency markets.
