We are looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of financial tasks. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records, compliance with financial regulations, and timely financial reporting. You should have deep accounting expertise and a proactive mindset to support ongoing improvements in financial processes.
The Senior Accountant will handle general ledger functions, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements and reports, manage tax matters, and work closely with stakeholders across departments to support the company’s financial health. You’ll be expected to take initiative, maintain a high level of accuracy, and demonstrate integrity in managing sensitive financial information.
Responsibilities:
Monitor daily vouchers and ensure alignment with supporting documentation.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to track assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and tax obligations.
Supervise and manage full-cycle accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support internal and external audits, including tax and financial audits.
Perform and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations.
Reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) on a routine basis.
Review and confirm payment requests and supporting documentation.
Prepare required reports for government authorities and provide ad hoc financial reports for management.
Provide expertise on tax, insurance, and VAT matters, managing all SSO obligations.
Ensure compliance across financial operations with all legal and regulatory standards.
Identify accounting discrepancies and spearhead resolution.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of tax regulations, social security obligations (SSO), and VAT.
Solid command of accounting software and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical thinking, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Positive attitude and proven ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Experience in preparing financial statements is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
