Job Description
Plan, manage, and supervise all drilling-fluid activities at the rig; design, develop, and optimize drilling-fluid programs based on well conditions, formation characteristics, and the drilling program; continuously monitor and control the physical and chemical properties of drilling fluids; control the consumption of chemicals and additives; analyze drilling-fluid problems and implement appropriate corrective actions; supervise mud engineers and mud laboratory technicians; prepare daily and periodic reports; and closely coordinate with the Rig Manager, Driller, Drilling Engineering, Geology, and HSE teams to prevent well problems and improve drilling performance.
Required Skills
Strong team leadership and management skills; ability to analyze well conditions and identify drilling-fluid problems; fast and effective decision-making in operational situations; strong problem-solving skills for complex drilling challenges; chemical and material consumption planning and control; effective communication with operational teams and client representatives; ability to manage situations such as lost circulation, kicks, wellbore instability, and stuck pipe; high accuracy in data recording and analysis; and ability to prepare technical and management reports
Required Education
کارشناسی/ کارشناسی ارشد - مهندسی نفت، مهندسی شیمی، مهندسی مواد، زمین‌شناسی یا رشته‌های مرتبط
مدرک مهندسی نفت با گرایش حفاری و بهره‌برداری ترجیح داده می شود
Required Certifications
Drilling Fluids / Mud Engineering certifications; recognized Well Control training and certification; valid HSE certifications; specialized Drilling Fluids courses; familiarity with API standards and procedures; and training in the safe management and han Mandatory
Required Languages
انگلیسی (Intermediate)
Technical Skills
Expertise in drilling-fluid engineering and design; advanced knowledge of Water-Based Mud, Oil-Based Mud, and Synthetic-Based Mud systems; proficiency in monitoring and interpreting rheology, density, PV, YP, gel strength, filtration, and pH; knowledge of (Level 3/5)
