Job Description
As the strategic and execution arm of the Marketing Director, the Senior Marketing Manager translates marketing priorities into actionable plans, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures key initiatives are delivered effectively.
Without direct people management responsibilities, this role owns and coordinates important Marketing projects, supports decision-making through analysis and recommendations, identifies obstacles, and drives execution across teams.
The role requires strong analytical, prioritization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. When required, the Senior Marketing Manager may also represent the Marketing Director on specific topics.
Responsibilities:
Translate high-level Marketing goals and priorities into execution plans, Roadmaps, and trackable actions, and ensure their progress within the agreed timelines.
Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop, update, and execute the Marketing Strategy, Priorities, and Annual/Quarterly Plans, and provide analysis and recommendations for their improvement.
Create coordination and alignment across different Marketing functions and teams, including Brand Experience, Acquisition, Retention, Creative, and Marketing Operations, and facilitate the progress of shared and cross-functional initiatives.
Own and drive strategic and cross-functional Marketing projects and Initiatives, from problem definition and planning through execution, performance monitoring, and reporting.
Continuously monitor Marketing performance based on key metrics, identify opportunities, challenges, and deviations, and provide actionable Insights and recommendations to the Marketing Director.
Establish and maintain an effective Operating Rhythm for planning, Prioritization, action tracking, decision-making meetings, and reporting, helping improve the transparency and execution speed of the Marketing function.
Follow up on the execution of key Marketing decisions and ensure that the Owner, Timeline, dependencies, and next steps are clearly defined for important topics.
Work closely with Product, Commercial, Data/BI, Finance, Technology, and other key stakeholders to align Marketing plans with business objectives.
Prepare reports, analyses, and Executive Updates for the Marketing Director and, when required, present the status, issues, and relevant recommendations to senior managers and other stakeholders.
Identify execution barriers, risks, and cross-functional dependencies, and follow up on their resolution through stakeholder coordination and the development of appropriate solutions.
Represent the Marketing Director in meetings, projects, and specific topics, and follow up on the execution of related decisions and commitments within the delegated authority.
Identify opportunities to improve Marketing processes, collaboration methods, and the operating model, and contribute to the design and implementation of solutions that increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Support the definition and execution of Performance Reviews and the evaluation of the effectiveness of key Initiatives and Campaigns, and extract learnings for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in Marketing, preferably in digital, platform-based, or high-growth businesses.
Experience in Senior Marketing, Strategy, Marketing Operations, Business Planning, or similar roles that required close collaboration with senior Marketing leadership and
Strong knowledge of Marketing Strategy and Marketing Planning
Strong knowledge of Project / Initiative Management and the ability to drive complex and cross-functional projects
Ability to analyze and interpret Marketing KPIs and Performance Metrics
Strong command of Prioritization, Planning, and Operating Rhythm
Ability to prepare Management Reports, Executive Presentations, and Business Updates
Strong familiarity with different Marketing functions, including Brand, Acquisition, Retention, Creative, and Marketing Operations
Strong Stakeholder Management and Cross-functional Collaboration skills
Ability to solve problems, structure complex topics, and translate ambiguous issues into actionable plans
Ability to work with data and use analysis to support decision-making and recommend actions
Proficiency in planning, documentation, and Collaboration tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Notion/Confluence, Jira, or similar tools
