We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about building quality into products from the ground up. As one of the early members of the QA function at Dot One, you will play a key role in establishing testing practices, improving product reliability, and helping teams deliver high-quality user experiences.
The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving. You should be able to work across multiple products and stakeholders, quickly switch contexts, and proactively identify risks before they impact users.
Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and checklists based on product requirements and user stories
Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, UI/UX, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across web applications and backend services
Identify, document, and track software defects clearly using issue-tracking tools such as Jira
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and ensure proper test coverage
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile environment
Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure UI consistency and responsiveness
Validate and verify APIs using tools such as Postman
Design and execute web automation tests using Robot Framework
Analyze test results, report findings, and suggest process or product improvements
Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, bug reports, and release notes
Familiarity with database querying
Experience writing test cases using Gherkin
Requirements
3+ years of experience in manual software testing
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle
Experience writing and maintaining test cases and test scenarios using tools such as Zephyr
Experience with Postman or similar tools for API testing
Experience with web automation testing using Robot Framework
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking and documentation tools
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Performance and Load Testing using K6
Experience working with Metabase
Experience in the finance or cryptocurrency domain is a plus
