Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using one of PHP, Python, or Go.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
Design and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and database performance.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Utilize caching technologies such as Redis to improve application performance.
Work with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) for asynchronous processing when needed.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to improving system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages:
PHP
Python
Go (Golang)
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and object-oriented or modular programming.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
Basic understanding of caching technologies such as Redis.
Basic understanding of asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with at least one backend framework or ecosystem (e.g., Laravel, Phalcon, FastAPI, Django, Gin, Fiber, Echo).
Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development.
Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Experience monitoring and debugging production systems.
Understanding of software performance optimization and scalability concepts
